The Only Food Articles are a series of reviews written for Only Magazine in which David Look sought to debase the absurdity of critical essays on food. This mandate produced lengthy texts on David’s state of mind, the people he was eating with, where they were eating, and how social classes dictated what they were eating. Architectural history, the commerce of necessity and the excesses of cuisine are themes that run throughout the articles. Food is everywhere.
